Just uploading something for the sake of uploading really.. I've been kinda inactive when it comes to uploading..
This piece started of as a practice sketch but I had nothing else to do in the lunch breaks so I started working on it again.
This is a good moment to rage a bit and I think a lot of artists (just people who love to draw.. 'artist' sounds so huge doesn't it?) may recognize. When you're working on a drawing and you have it thought out quite nicely and you're just working on it it's kinda like a human magnet: When someone draws it must be fully inspected and watched. How I hate that.. but well I'm kinda asking for an audience if I'm drawing in school so oke, they can just watch, no problem! But then.. the questions..
Those are examples from the questions I got on this drawing:
The all famous: "What is that?"
"Are you gonna finnish that hair?"
"What's that sign down there?"
"why all the plants in her hair?"
"are those tattoo's?!"
"Why is she crying?"
"when is is gonna be finished?"
and ofcourse the "Did you REALLY draw that...? I mean, isn't it redrawn? No? Stolen from the internet? No? owh.. oke.. looks good." (some stupid girl smudged up some lines just to see it's not a copy or anything.. had to do the triquetra again because of that)

I get that last one all the time O.o I mean, does my "art" look so fake or something?

Anyhow, can anyone relate to those stupid questions? or is it just me being the silly one? Because really, I can't do anything else then facepalm when I hear one of those questions.. over and over again x)

well that was about it..

uhh the stupid questions... yes I know them.

I agree with Rakaloe, that people are not used to such talents and think its fake. I've never had anyone think its fake though. but still the questions are a little...un-intelligent?
"why are there plants in her hair?" probably cause its not the typical cutsie bullshit with reconisable and "logical" thing they usually see. I would rather ask what the plants in her hair stand for, ( I think its cause pagan/ celtic (?) is a culture very close to nature, not sure though ) its kinda like asking why someone in a drawing got a hat...
as for the "why is she crying?." and if she would smile they wouldn ask why she is smiling. cause it seems that people care a lot more when something is negative or sad. ( I found that out when I did a few rage journal, all the sudden I got loads of comments.. not when I tell I'm feeling good XD)
the one of the sign, I had that one, well with my necklace, she was a little shocked when she found out what it stood for.

and WTH I would have killed that girl... smuging .....grrr

Ah yes indeed, you know what I mean O.O agreed, people are so not knowing, they are just not open to new things..
Indeed, they're very close to nature so I wanted to make this a bit symbolic :)
Yes indeed, when everything goes bad everybody is like "Owh my, what's wrong?" and when things are looking happy nobody really cares..Though she is crying in this drawing her mouth looks rather 'relieved' ;) also a bit symbolic
hehe yes those reactions are priceless >83

ah yes, I haven't seen her at school ever since (not even kidding O.O)

yeah indeed...

yeah I loved it :la: I tried to capture that with the coloring to X3

indeed ! its kinda annoying. I always feel like an atention whore when I tell that I'm not feeling well.. T>T some people use the "uhhh I'm so misareable" to seek attention.. :/
yeah indeed, instead of sad, as for the position of her head.

O.O maybe she felt your deadly thoughts XD

you gotta see it like this, it's so nicely done and detailed, it becomes kind of unbelievable to be drawn by a little 14 year old girl. i was 'shocked' when i saw your drawings for the first time too :D but, the triquetra stands for witchcraft or something right?? xd

hehe *correction, little 15 year old girl ;) * but thank you so much! Still a lot of room for improvement and such..
Ah yes kinda, it's a celtic symbol for life, death and reincarnation as well as earth, air and water (so I kinda made a mistake whit the title since it's not pagan but celtic.. owh well..)

:wow: This piece is amazing!!! Its just so... beautiful

as for the questions, I don't get any of those because 1. I don't go to school (well I go to an online school) 2. No one is actually that interested in my art for me to have an audience. But, most artists like you get those questions a lot

The only reason is that your art looks fake to some people is because its so amazing that they don't believe a great artist is in front of them :I

Thank you so much!

really? but.. do you go to an online school for special reasons (such as living far away from school or having some other kind of disability)? I want to go to a special school or study at home and not having to go to a school building because of personal reasons but it's almost impossible in my country.. >.<
ah no that's not true, even if someone is just drawing stick figures everybody wants to inspect what they're drawing.. (and you're art is amazing, if you where in my school you would really have an audience! O.O)

 thanks! but still.. I'm kinda worried it looks fake now, or at least not original.. maybe I'm gonna try a few different styles just to see which one looks more original O.o

You're welcome!!

Yea... I go to an online school because, I'm way above the curriculum, all the schools around my area are kind of ghetto, and I have social anxiety. That sucks that you can't be home-schooled or anything!! ;A;
True, i just never draw in public, even if it was in public it's usually at meetings. (Pfffft  thank you ;A; )

You're welcome! *slap* Your art does NOT look fake or unoriginal, okay? When you draw at school, people just think that no one can draw like that in front of their eyes. Seriously, your art is just so clean, amazing, and professional that they don't believes that comes from you. You should draw new styles! Just instead of picking out the one that looks most original, do the one that you love the most ;A;
